"The Loving" - Named for Oliver Loving—legendary Texas cattleman, pioneer, and co-founder of the famed Goodnight-Loving Trail—this piece honors one of the great trail drivers of the American West. Loving wrote often of the breathtaking country he crossed, describing prairies so beautiful they seemed almost unreal. It’s easy to imagine wild red poppies scattered across those open plains, just like the exquisitely hand-carved and hand-painted poppy showcased on this remarkable collar. Like every collar in the Brushy Creek Heritage Collection, it is fully lined and padded with exceptionally soft calfskin for uncompromising comfort.
Brushy Creek’s Heritage Collection Hand Tooled Collars rank among the finest you’ll find anywhere. Each piece is crafted by skilled leather artisans who take pride in every cut, stamp, and stitch. These collars reflect the true look and spirit of the West, while being engineered for all-day comfort your pup will appreciate.
Lined and padded with soft, supple calfskin and tapered at the buckle for a smoother fit, every collar is built to outlast years of wear. Like a well-ridden saddle, they only grow richer and more beautiful with time.
